Avarice/Greed Activities
Choose one of the following activities, do it, and write a 300-400-word reflection paper on It making sure that your reflection includes discussion of the vice

 (if you do an activity that shows up again, you must choose a different activity)

1.    Raid your closets (at home and at HU) and give an accurate estimate of the total cost of all of your clothes and accessories (shoes, hats, jewelry, etc).  List the items along with their cost and total it all up.  If your closets are bare, identify another area in your life where you tend to spend lots of money (eating out, entertainment—DVDs, CDs, itunes, etc., books, make-up, …)

2.    Give up something for four days that you tend to purchase on a daily basis.

3.    If someone tells you that they like your x (earings, shirt, shoes, album, piece of cake, etc) immediately give it to them.

4.    Tithe 10% of your income to a local church.

5.    Instead of eating out with friends or grabbing a coffee, anonymously pay for someone’s groceries or meal or drinks or…
